Location Photo Essay Reflection

On a technical level, this assignment was not very difficult. Acquiring every required shot here was not a huge challenge but there were a few things I definitely would have done differently. One thing I should have done was to approach people and take a more staged photo. This would give me a better structure for the story I was trying to tell through my photos and I would have taken much better photos with a subject. Another thing I should have done was to find more unusual or unique things to shoot. I noticed most of my photos were somewhat bland and did not have much meaningful imagery contributing to any narrative. One thing I think I did well was working with what I got. I did not have quality storytelling photos but I put them together to portray some sort of narrative.
